Course Content

Whole Numbers and Place Value
Learners develop confidence working with whole numbers, place value, rounding, estimating, and the four basic operations to solve everyday mathematical problems.

  • Understanding Whole Numbers and Place Value Skills

Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages
This lesson explores how fractions, decimals, and percentages are connected and used in practical situations including shopping, budgeting, and calculations.

Ratio and Direct Proportion
Learners investigate ratios, sharing amounts, scaling quantities, and understanding direct proportion in real-life contexts.

Money and Financial Mathematics
This lesson focuses on practical financial skills including budgeting, wages, bills, savings, discounts, and everyday money calculations.

Mastering Time and Schedules
Learners build confidence reading clocks, calculating time intervals, interpreting timetables, and managing schedules effectively.

Units of Measure and Conversions
This lesson develops understanding of metric units, conversions, and measuring length, weight, capacity, and temperature accurately.

Perimeter and Area
Learners calculate perimeter and area for a variety of shapes and apply these skills to practical scenarios and problem-solving tasks.

Volume and 3D Shapes
This lesson introduces learners to 3D shapes, volume calculations, and interpreting dimensions in everyday and workplace contexts.

Shape, Space, and Position
Learners explore properties of shapes, angles, symmetry, coordinates, and positional language to strengthen spatial awareness.

Collecting and Representing Data
This lesson focuses on gathering, organising, and presenting data using charts, tables, graphs, and visual representations.

Statistical Analysis and Probability
