About Course

The IFDP Teen Behaviour Mastery Programme is a coaching-style online course for parents and carers of young people aged 10 to 18 whose behaviour is causing worry, conflict or fear at home – from daily arguments, defiance and withdrawal through to aggression, child-to-parent violence, going missing, exploitation and offending.

Across eleven illustrated modules, parents learn to keep the family safe, understand what lies behind the behaviour, stay calm under pressure, talk and listen in ways teenagers respond to, use fair consequences and non-violent resistance, and rebuild the relationship step by step. Every module ends with a coaching check-in – try, reflect, adjust – and builds towards a written behaviour change plan.

The programme works best alongside support from an IFDP practitioner, school, youth service or other professional. Where anyone is at immediate risk of harm, families are directed to contact the police or emergency services.
