About Course

IFDP Parent Connect Workshops is a short, free course for parents, carers and grandparents. It covers the everyday questions families ask most, with practical ideas you can use straight away.

Across five modules you will look at what every child needs to thrive, how your own upbringing shapes your parenting, and why parents need each other; screen time and online safety; supporting learning and working with school; managing stress and protecting family time; and finally your family’s strengths, your support network and a one-page family growth plan.

Each lesson mixes short explanations with practical tools, interactive practice activities and take-home tasks. You can work alone, or share with other parents in the course Q&A or a live IFDP group. Practice activities and module quizzes are not graded. The final assessment has a 70% pass mark and up to 3 attempts.
