About Course

Families change. A separation, a death, a move, a new country or a new baby can turn a child’s world upside down, and yours too. This IFDP programme gives you practical, down-to-earth ways to help your children through it.

You will learn how children of different ages understand change, how to talk to them honestly, how to keep life steady, and how to spot when a child needs more help. Three modules focus on specific changes (separation and new family shapes, bereavement, and moving, migration and new arrivals), so you can spend longest on what matters to your family.

The course has six modules and 26 short lessons, with interactive practice activities and module quizzes that are not marked and never block your progress. It ends with one final assessment: 15 questions, 70% to pass, up to 3 attempts. Pass it to receive your IIFAL certificate.
