About Course

Cloud computing now underpins almost every organisation, from email and payroll to AI. This course gives IT professionals, managers and decision-makers a clear, up-to-date understanding of how the cloud works, what it costs, where the risks lie and how to move to it well.

You will learn the service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and serverless), the deployment models (public, private, hybrid and multi-cloud), the shared responsibility model for security, data protection and current regulation such as the EU Data Act, storage and backup, pricing and FinOps, choosing providers and reading SLAs, and planning a migration using the 7 Rs. Real case studies include Netflix, Spotify, Capital One, Dropbox and 37signals, and recent events such as the October 2025 AWS outage.

The course has six modules and 19 lessons, with interactive practice activities and module quizzes that are not marked and never block your progress. It ends with one final assessment: 15 questions, 70% to pass, up to 3 attempts. Pass it to receive your IIFAL certificate.
