About Course
The IFDP Confident Minds helps children and young people aged 6 to 18 build the skills to manage worry, stress and big emotions. Through six interactive modules, learners discover how their mind and body respond to feelings and practise simple tools to feel calmer and more confident.
Younger children (6 to 11) work through the course with a parent or carer, using the family activities in each module. Young people (12 to 18) can complete it independently, with a short parent guide at the end of each module so families can support practice at home.
The programme builds resilience, emotional regulation, healthy thinking and confidence. It is a wellbeing course, not a treatment. Each module explains when and how to seek further help from a trusted adult, school, GP or specialist service.
