The emotional impact, such as mood swings and impaired coping abilities, is also examined.Additionally, learners will study the withdrawal process, understanding both the physical symptoms (like shaking, sweating, and nausea) and emotional challenges (such as irritability, anxiety, and depression) that can occur when someone stops drinking alcohol after prolonged misuse. This knowledge is essential to recognise the risks of alcohol dependence and the importance of proper support during recovery

Emotional Effects of Withdrawing from Alcohol
When a person stops drinking alcohol after long-term use, they often experience emotional withdrawal symptoms because the brain needs time to adjust.
